Shunamite Back in black

Back in black is a silvered black dumbo out of Shunamite Tabi hoppy daze and (probably!) Matrix Trick or Treat?

Back in black and his siblings were the result of an escapee litter - when Daisy slipped through the bars of her cage when Jannah, Elysian, Baldrick and Trick or Treat were out in the rat room free-ranging.
It was this litter that lead to us putting all the rats into duettos as a preventative measure. In view of the relative fitness and ability to catch Daisy - and the spread of varieties in the litter, we think that probably only Trick or treat? mated with her.
His name is that of a real ale - and one that I chose long ago for Black beastie, but Joanne changed it! So I was thrilled to have a lovely black lad to inherit it. And he wears it well.
Back in black was a bit squeaky as a baby - protesting about being picked up - but very comfortable once out of his cage. As he has matured he has overcome this behaviour and is a loving and sweet young man. He lives with Lord Flashheart, Hink, Bink, Casper and Wild card.
